An independent wealth management and financial planning firm serving private investors, businesses, and nonprofit organizations experienced rapid growth and recognized IT shortcomings, specifically with respect to the performance and functionality of a secure desktop solution.

Solution
To identify the best partner, the firm hired a consultant to assist in the process of selecting a Managed Service Provider (MSP) equipped to deliver cybersecurity, scalability, and IT service solutions.

The firm now has the flexibility to scale its IT infrastructure based on demand, whether onboarding 20 new employees or a single team member. Centralized Password and Application Management
CBIZ introduced a centralized password management system, integrated with Microsoft Entra, for secure login access. Additionally, the CBIZ team set up Adobe licensing and other essential apps, simplifying software management and strengthening security.
Ongoing Security Enhancements
CBIZ is currently enhancing the firm’s security infrastructure by implementing a SIEM tool using Microsoft Azure Sentinel. This tool will serve as a central hub for security reporting by consolidating data from all security products.
