Fraudulent job offers are often sent through email, text message, social media, or messaging applications. These scams may involve promises of remote work, international relocation, visa sponsorship, or requests for payment related to equipment purchases, background checks, immigration processing, or other employment-related expenses. Scammers may also send checks and instruct recipients to purchase equipment or return unused funds. These checks are often fraudulent.
