Chris is a Managing Director at CBIZ Marks Paneth and leads the Estates and Trusts practice. He focuses on estate planning and gift, estate, and trust taxation. With over 30 years of experience in accounting, tax and nonprofit organizations, Chris is adept at working with clients and their professional advisors to assist in developing estate plans that provide both estate tax savings and efficient transfer of assets to the next generation and to charitable organizations. His estate planning experience includes a special focus on the changing needs of same-sex couples.
Chris also advises trustees and beneficiaries on foreign grantor and non-grantor trusts, as well as gift tax planning for non-resident non-citizens (NRNC). In addition to his experience in estate planning, he is knowledgeable in the administration of complex estates and trusts.
