The CBIZ Workplace Challenge is a 3.5 mile run-walk for charity and Long Island’s largest office picnic. Held at Jones Beach State Park, the event is an annual summer highlight for the Long Island business community. Companies, organizations, and government agencies are invited to register teams, and friends and families are welcome to participate.
The CBIZ Workplace Challenge is the largest event of its kind on Long Island – a great place to publicize YOUR organization, by becoming a sponsor. We offer sponsorship levels for every budget.
And the best part – it’s all for charity. Since its inception, we’ve raised more than $1.4 million for our charity beneficiaries.

Meet Our Beneficiaries

The Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM)
Long Island Children’s Museum believes that children learn best by seeing, touching, and doing and are motivated to learn when they are having fun. For more than 30 years, the Museum has offered opportunities for learning, connection and growth through the power of play to support the well-being of children and families.
The Museum has grown into a world-class facility, treasured by generations of children. More than five million visitors have enjoyed its interactive permanent and traveling exhibits; hands-on educational programs and workshops, live theatre performances and a variety of early childhood, art, science and humanities workshops.
LICM is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), recognized as the field’s gold standard for museum excellence and signifies a museum’s quality, credibility and its deep commitment to mission and community. Less than 3% of the nation’s more than 30,000 museums have earned this recognition. LICM is currently the only children’s museum in NY State, and just one of 16 nationwide, to achieve accreditation.

Children’s Medical Fund of New York
Children’s Medical Fund of New York was established in 1966 by a group of visionaries, who thought the region needed a dedicated children’s hospital. A nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, the founding leadership advocated for a hospital to be built, won its authorization, and raised the funds necessary so that the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY opened its doors in 1983. CMF remains one of the hospital’s largest supporters, with over 90 million dollars raised to advance medical care, increase technological capability, support educational information, and improve the lives of seriously ill children and their families. “Children’s Medical Fund Center for Pediatric Diagnostic Studies” at Cohen Children’s Medical Center treats patients from infancy through young adulthood. 10 million dollars has already been given towards this project and the suite is treating patients. Operating from its Syosset offices, CMF designs events in New York and on Long Island to attract major support and create awareness of its mission.
