Profile
Tim is a Managing Director and leads the firm’s valuation efforts in the Alternative Investment sector. With 40+ years of valuation experience, Mr. Croushore has extensive experience serving alternative investment clients, including mark-to-market services, collateral valuation and monitoring, quality-of-earnings reviews, financial and tax reporting valuations, fairness opinions, and periodic surveillance.
Tim specializes in the valuation of illiquid, hard-to-value assets, having provided valuation support for thousands of individual assets, including private equity and debt, PIPEs, real property, distressed trade claims, life insurance settlements, feature film production slates, prospective litigation award pools, and various securitized products. He is a recognized expert in valuation and has testified as an expert at the state and federal levels. He has conducted ‘train the trainer’ events at valuation conferences, published valuation content in peer-reviewed journals and has guest lectured at the graduate school level and is a member of the Appraisal Issues Task Force, a valuation think-tank within the Appraisal Foundation providing guidance on fair value issues to the accounting profession.
Tim has served in similar roles with international consulting organizations, as the national valuation leader of a top 15 accounting firm and was a Principal (non-CPA Partner) in the valuation practice of a Big 4 firm.
