CBIZ Women's Advantage (CWA)’s mission is simple: We are women helping women succeed in business. CBIZ developed CWA in 2007 to help create a competitive advantage for our women through professional training, development, mentorship, recognition, and career enhancement. We bring these same elements to women in our business communities through a variety of educational and networking events as well as through our charitable initiatives.

Women Transforming Business Awards

The Women Transforming Business Awards (WTBAs), powered by CBIZ’s Women's Advantage, honor leaders who have driven significant change within their organizations and communities in five categories: financial strength, innovation, culture, community impact, and emerging leadership.

The WTBAs recognize women who both excel in business and inspire colleagues, peers and future generations of leaders. We celebrate businesswomen who overcome obstacles, see opportunities in the face of adversity and create an organizational culture that breeds empathy, compels excellence and embraces authenticity.

Nominations for the 4th annual Women Transforming Business Awards (WTBAs) are now closed. Honorees will be announced on Friday, March 8th – International Women’s Day, and they will be celebrated at our virtual awards event on Tuesday, May 7th.

CBIZ Women to Watch

Please join us in congratulating the 228 CBIZ women who were nominated by their colleagues and recognized as our 2023 Women to Watch. We commend these outstanding women for their remarkable achievements, unwavering commitment, and invaluable impact on our workplace. They have been recognized in four categories:

  • Leadership and Employee Development
  • Client Growth and Retention
  • Operational Excellence
  • Community and Cultural Impact

CBIZ Women’s Advantage is committed to philanthropy in our communities. For 16 years, CWA has partnered with global non-profit Dress for Success (DFS), an organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to women in need. Last year, through our Your Hour, Her Power campaign, we raised over $120,000 for 40 Dress For Success affiliates across the country.
