William Scally

William Scally is the Lead Managing Director and Litigation Practice Leader for the Forensic Consulting Group at CBIZ. With over 20 years of management consulting experience, he advises clients on a wide range of business challenges.

As a specialist in valuation and dispute advisory, William provides financial, economic, and statistical services to companies, with expertise in equity and debt valuation, business enterprise valuation, business model due diligence, and contract compliance. He has significant experience applying valuation principles to support companies in pursuing strategic initiatives and analyzing economic damages related to government and commercial litigation. His work includes valuations of closely held businesses, assessments of patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation, joint venture and breach of contract disputes, business and asset impairment analyses, and purchase price disputes.

William’s experience spans a broad array of industries, including private equity and early-stage ventures, services, software, technology, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences, and healthcare.

He has provided testimony in matters involving both large public corporations and private regional companies, as well as majority and minority shareholders. William has been jointly retained as a valuation expert for settlement purposes and has served as an advisory expert assisting startups with valuation issues related to complex mergers. Previously, he worked in the Forensic Advisory practice of a Big 4 accounting firm in Boston.
