Ruchita Shah is a Senior Director in CBIZ’s Costa Mesa office within the Firm’s Advisory Services Group. She leverages her expertise in forensic accounting to support litigation involving complex family law matters. Ruchita is qualified to testify as an expert witness in both Northern and Southern California and has extensive experience assisting counsel with mediations, court hearings, depositions, and expert witness testimony at trial.
Ruchita assists clients in marital dissolution proceedings by analyzing gross cash flow available for support and the division of marital estates, including tracing separate property claims and identifying undisclosed assets. She is also highly skilled in post-separation accounting, real property apportionment, and the allocation of stock-based equity compensation. In addition, Ruchita collaborates with attorneys on legal positions and relevant case law when preparing pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
She currently serves as the chair of the CalCPA Forensic Services Section for the Orange County/Long Beach chapter.
