Solution
CBIZ Technology conducted a pre-implementation assessment of the planned Oracle ERP Cloud upgrade to identify risks and readiness gaps. Guided by the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Maturity Model and leading IT and financial control standards, CBIZ evaluated controls, segregation of duties, data management, policies, and procedures. The team interviewed leaders across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, IT, and Compliance; attended readiness and go-live meetings; and reviewed security matrix designs, test scripts, training materials, communications, and implementation plans to assess control design and testing.
Outcome
Requested by the audit committee and board, the assessment validated control design and testing readiness and provided actionable insights to strengthen governance. The client gained clarity to stabilize, protect, and secure its ERP environment, supporting a well-controlled Oracle implementation.
