As part of The Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund, Manufacturing Grants are offered to small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in New York State.
The Grants are designed to encourage collaboration between not-for-profit organizations and manufacturing companies and serve as a resource to help companies be successful from early stage through maturity.
The partnership created by the not-for-profit organization and the industry partner will serve to assist with the implementation of new manufacturing processes, as well as the creation of enhanced products and services.
The U.S. Economic Development Administration is providing additional support in the form of Manufacturing Grants, focusing on projects that benefit start-up companies and awards that benefit eligible companies of any stage of maturity. Equipment costs are eligible under those awards. Individual grants may be available for up to $50,000.
The program goal is to identify projects that support the collaboration of not-for-profit organizations and New York State manufacturers, leading to the growth of New York’s manufacturing sector.
