As President of Florida, Brett leads Moss’ construction management operations across both the Mid-Florida and South Florida markets. In this role, he provides statewide operational and strategic leadership, aligning teams, resources, and performance to ensure consistent delivery and strong business outcomes across Florida.
A member of the Moss executive team, Brett helps guide the company’s overall strategy and supports national initiatives across multiple regions, including Dallas, Hawaii, and solar. Over the past two decades, his leadership has played a key role in Moss’ exponential growth and enduring reputation for operational excellence.

Jeff Burks
Jeff brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost reduction across construction, technical, and industrial services industries. Throughout his career, he has founded, owned, operated, and led both small businesses and large public and privately held organizations. For the past eight years, Jeff has served as Chief Executive Officer of Latite Roofing and Sheet Metal, LLC, headquartered in Pompano Beach, Florida. Founded more than 80 years ago, Latite operates four offices across Florida and continues to build on its legacy of operational excellence and industry leadership.

Jeff Burns
Jeff Burns is the CEO of Affiliated Development in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Burns has over 18 years of experience in the acquisition, development and finance of a wide array of property types in markets across the United States.
Mr. Burns is a Midwestern native and got his start in the real estate industry as a commercial real estate lender, where he originated, underwrote and funded construction financing for large-scale projects throughout the Midwest. After a successful stint in the lending business, Mr. Burns shifted his focus to ground-up mixed-use multifamily development by completing his first project, a $65 million 30-story high-rise that won Project of the Year in 2012. In 2014, Mr. Burns reoriented the company’s focus to South Florida and partnered with Mr. Rojo to grow Affiliated’s presence in what has become one of the fastest growing markets in the US.

Wesley Foster, P.E., S.I., MBA
Wesley Foster, P.E., S.I., MBA is President and CEO of Pacifica Engineering Services, a Florida-based engineering firm providing geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, threshold inspections, and private provider services statewide. Under his leadership, Pacifica has grown to more than 140 employees in 7 years and has been recognized by Inc. 5000, Gator100, and South Florida Business Journal Fast 50 awards.
Wesley is also the creator of PlanCheckPro.AI, an AI-powered plan review platform developed to accelerate permitting timelines and improve code compliance across the AEC industry. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida and holds degrees in Civil Engineering (UF) and Business Administration (LSU).

Adam Handfinger
Adam Handfinger is a Co-Managing Partner of the firm’s Miami office, chair of the Client Service Committee, and sits on Peckar and Abramson’s Executive Committee. He is certified by the Florida Bar as a Construction Law Specialist and focuses his practice on construction law and commercial litigation matters, representing construction professionals in issues relating to contract negotiation, project management, subcontractor performance issues and claims, payment, construction defects, bond and insurance claims, the project closeout process, and the litigation of related disputes.

Eric Helitzer
Eric Helitzer is the Founder & CEO of SubBase, a material procurement platform, purpose-built for specialty trade contractors to optimize their current workflows while cutting the manual work and increasing visibility throughout the process. A third-generation builder with over 15 years of construction experience, Eric started his career in the field and understands the day-to-day pain points of project execution.
He holds a Master’s in Construction Management from the University of Florida Rinker School and has worked on major commercial and infrastructure projects across South Florida, including with Baker Concrete and GRYCON. These experiences exposed major inefficiencies in material procurement that led him to launch SubBase in 2022.

Eric Lopez
Eric Lopez is the Founder and CEO of Arrowhead Leadership Consulting, where he helps organizations build strong cultures, align teams, and develop leaders through practical, high-impact strategies. He is the author of Structured Empowerment, a guide for creating systems that empower leaders and teams to perform at their best. A retired U.S. Army Colonel and combat veteran, Eric led infantry units in Iraq and Afghanistan and commanded the Army’s 3rd Recruiting Brigade, gaining extensive experience in leadership, team performance, and mission execution. Today, he works with leaders across corporate, educational, and nonprofit sectors to transform teams, improve organizational effectiveness, and drive sustainable results.

Patrick Murphy
Congressman Patrick Erin Murphy is currently an Executive Vice President of Coastal Construction. He oversees Coastal’s diversification and growth. Patrick is currently overseeing the development of an estimating technology, Togal.AI, that is using artificial intelligence and deep machine learning to help automate the takeoff process. Murphy is also assisting in the development of a new building material, RENCO. Additionally, he co-chairs Coastal Construction’s philanthropic arm, Coastal Cares.
Patrick first started in the company as a day laborer, then project engineer, estimating assistant and accounting manager. Patrick served in U.S. Congress, representing Palm Beach and Treasure Coast in the House of Representatives for four years.

Shawn Oden
Shawn Oden serves as the Managing Director & South Florida Market Leader for BMO Bank’s Commercial Banking group. He is responsible for leading a team across South Florida that helps Commercial and Industrial companies grow their businesses. Shawn and his team provide their clients with a broad range of corporate lending, capital markets, payments, investments, risk management, strategic advisory and wealth management solutions.
