Vivian has over 11 years of public accounting and industry experience. Her professional experience includes accounting, auditing, internal controls, and consulting.
Since joining ARC Consulting, Vivian’s projects include supporting technology-based companies with audit preparation, preparing and drafting financial statements and technical memos, and implementing the new revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606).
Prior to joining ARC Consulting, Vivian worked in industry as a consultant at Clif Bar and as an Accounting Manager at Peet’s Coffee, where she managed and developed a team responsible for all areas of accounting including cash management, account controls, monthly close, financial reporting and analysis, and audit preparation. Vivian’s industry experience also includes preparing month-end reporting packages, documenting internal controls, increasing efficiency of the close process, implementing an ERP system, maintaining tax compliance, reviewing revenue contracts, and researching technical accounting guidance for the new leasing standard (ASC 842).
Vivian began her career in public accounting at Grant Thornton LLP where she oversaw financial statement audit engagements for both public and private companies.
