Marc List
Based in Boca Raton, Fla., Marc List leads CBIZ’s South Florida division and is a CBIZ CPAs shareholder. With over 25 years of experience, he collaborates with department leaders and management teams to enhance operational performance, increase revenue, and ensure client success.
Marc specializes in estate planning, corporate taxation, IRS representation, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and businesses. Before joining CBIZ in 1995, he gained experience at two national accounting firms. In addition to his client work, Marc is a published author on estate planning issues and has served as an expert witness, sharing his knowledge with peers and the broader accounting community.
He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University. Marc actively participates in professional and community organizations, including the Florida Bar, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Boca Raton Estate Planning Council, and serves as Southeast Regional Chair of the BPAC for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. He is also a Zin Fellow at Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
Doug Boedeker
Doug Boedeker has over 25 years of experience advising not-for-profit organizations, helping them navigate complex financial, operational, and compliance issues. Based in Washington, D.C., he joined CBIZ through the 2024 acquisition of Marcum LLP and previously served as an assurance partner at national firms focused on the not-for-profit sector.
In a previous role, Doug helped expand the firm from a team of 10 to over 150 professionals dedicated exclusively to not-for-profit clients. Beyond serving clients, he shares his expertise at national and local events, mentoring others and establishing best practices in nonprofit accounting.
Doug is a licensed CPA in five states, a Certified Management Accountant, and an active member of professional organizations, including the AICPA, the Greater Washington Society of CPAs, and the Institute of Management Accountants. He currently serves on the American Society of Association Executives’ Finance and Business Operations Advisory Council and the Audit Committee for Susquehanna University.
