Jennifer joined CBIZ Benefits & Insurance Services as an Account Executive in November 2012. She is primarily responsible for providing consultative health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance account services for mid-market size client groups ranging in size from 30 to 300 employees. Jennifer has extensive knowledge and expertise in fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded medical, dental, life, and disability employer-sponsored welfare benefit plans. She also knows wellness programs, EAP’s, voluntary benefits, COBRA, Section 125 plans (Flexible Spending Accounts), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), and the Affordable Care Act employer requirements. Jennifer works diligently with the CBIZ Benefits Team to ensure her clients experience exceptional customer service.
Jennifer brings over 20 years of employee benefits experience to her position and offers this knowledge and perspective to our team and clients. Before CBIZ, she served as an Account Manager with another brokerage in Tucson, AZ specializing in employer groups from 2 to 500. She worked directly with carrier partners, employers, and employees assisting with day-to-day service.
Jennifer holds a Life, Health and Accident license in the State of Arizona and frequently attends seminars regarding healthcare trends, compliance, COBRA, HIPAA, and other areas affecting employer benefits.
Jennifer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Eastern New Mexico University, an Associates in Liberal Arts, and a Human Resources Certificate through Pima Community College.
