Windows Autopilot Process Guide
** If you are a current employee, please continue to use your old PC until the new one is completely setup **
- Connect Power Adapter to your laptop and power on the system.
- Connect to a network:
CBIZ Office - If you are in a CBIZ office connect to the CBIZ-Guest wireless network (Do not connect to CBIZ-Secure), follow the prompts to get connected and select Connect automatically. NOTE: When you are asked for a sponsor’s email, you can put in your own email address to approve your own access. You may also connect the new computer to a docking station or ethernet cable. Select Next in the bottom right-hand corner once connected.

Home / Remote Location - Connect computer to any wireless network or via an ethernet cable and select Next in the bottom right-hand corner.

- After a few minutes, the screen below should appear. This process can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes depending on your internet connection.

- At the login screen, select the icon in the screenshot below (Network sign-in).
*Note: If you are directly connected to the CBIZ network via ethernet cable or docking station, please skip to step 8.

- remote.cbiz.com should be pre-populated, select the arrow

- Enter your CBIZ Email address and Password (You are now connected to CBIZ VPN).

- Select Back to return to the login screen.

- Type in your CBIZ Email address and Password again to sign-in to your laptop.
*Note: If you receive the following message “We can’t sign you in with this credential because your domain isn’t available. Make sure your device is connected to your organization’s network and try again.” you aren’t connected to the VPN.
Click the Disconnect icon
and reconnect to the VPN in steps 4-7 above.

- After you have successfully logged into your computer, keep the power cable connected.
**Do not attempt to open any applications at this time.**
Continue to let it sit while some important software and driver updates are being applied. When finished you will receive the below prompt to restart.

If this popup is missed and the laptop restarts automatically, you will know that setup is complete when you receive the below toast notification.

- You can now attempt to open applications such as Outlook and Teams
Please Note: Teams and Outlook should work at this time. However, if you receive an error that you "Can't get there from here", continue to let it sit and allow an extra 15-20 minutes for syncing to complete before trying again.
- Your PC setup is complete. Please review the below troubleshooting links if you're facing any issues or missing any software, then contact the CBIZ Service Desk at 1-866-512-2249 if you need any additional assistance.
Post Deployment Steps:
Global Protect VPN:
- Go to your application tray and click on the icon for Global Protect
- Click Connect.
- Sign-in using your CBIZ Network usernameand password.
*Note: If you are directly connected to the CBIZ network via ethernet cable or docking station, there is no need to connect to the VPN.

Software Center:
- Click the Start Menu - All apps
- Click Software Center
- Select Applications
- Ensure applications are installed (click to manually install)
Device not compliant: If you completed all of the above steps and receive a message stating “Device must comply with your organization’s compliance requirements”, please allow the new laptop additional time to fully synchronize with our systems and restart every hour until it no longer gives the error. You should continue using your 'old' laptop until the new one is fully set-up and ready to use.
