Two of the nation’s largest mortgage agencies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, recently made headlines after a decision was made by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to restructure their loan-level price adjustment (LLPA) matrix :a fee based on the borrower’s risk.
