Now that the calendar has turned over to 2025, it is very important that plan sponsors ensure compliance with the Mental health Parity Regulations issued in September 2024. Of particular note, the comparative analysis requirement, which has been in effect since February 2021, has been updated. Plans must ensure that they have a comparative analysis available that meets the standards included in the final regulations. This requirement applies to ERISA plans as well as non-ERISA plans.
