Our January Small Business Employment Index (SBEI) has been released and the findings show a 2.37 percent decrease during the month, following a decrease of 0.39 percent in small business hiring in December. Although the SBEI showed a reduction, the index saw its lowest seasonal decline in the month of January in two years.
