Mike is an insurance professional with over 35 years experience in the industry. He joined CBIZ in August 2010, and is responsible for the National Property & Casualty practice.Before joining CBIZ, Mike held the position of Senior Vice President at Brown & Brown, running two of their agencies in South Florida from June 2005 to August 2010. Mike was associated with GE Employers Reinsurance Corporation from November 1997 to June of 2005, where he was a Business Leader responsible for leading three Property Casualty Divisions with over $500M in annual premiums. Prior to GE/ERC, he was CFO for the Lockton Companies for three years, and spent fifteen years with Alexander & Alexander in their Finance/Accounting functions, where he held the positions of Controller and CFO.
Since beginning his insurance career, Mike has built extensive knowledge in the Property & Casualty business including Brokerage, Primary and MGA operations. During Mike’s brokerage career, he gained extensive experience in the area of Mergers & Acquisitions.
