Lee Nestel brings over 25 years of insurance experience to the clients he serves in New Jersey. His competency and knowledge allows him to detail the insurance process in order to put his clients at ease. By focusing his time and attention on developing the best combination of insurance coverage and risk management techniques, Lee is able to provide top notch client service. His keen eye and attention to detail have resulted in significant savings and policy adjustments for many clients in a variety of sectors.

Lee’s industry expertise has established him as a thought leader. He routinely authors articles and has developed a wide variety of content and coverage analysis tools to better meet his client’s needs. Lee is currently pursuing his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification.

With a vast client base ranging from financial institutions to public entities, Lee is well-versed in the challenges these companies face. Currently, Lee serves as the Risk Consultant/Insurance Broker to a large multi-national diversified financial services firm as well as other clients in the financial industry. He advocates for clients by successfully challenging policy language to correct faulty wording and enhance coverages. Examples include:

Discovered a disastrous territorial limitation on coverage affecting public schools whose students travel overseas. Ensured the limitation was fixed immediately. Proficient at identifying and resolving technical policy issues with potentially negative financial consequences.

Lee is a frequent presenter and panel member for risk management issues facing public schools, and is the creator of numerous risk management guides that serve as the foundation of sound risk management.
