Scott is a Managing Director located in our Westchester office, who has been serving clients for more than 30 years. A CPA and CFE, he provides attest, accounting and advisory services to for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. To his role, he brings experience in the manufacturing, government and nonprofit industries. Scott also advised privately held business owners on tax planning strategies and using pensions as tax-savings tools. Recently, Scott has started performing audits for the firm’s theater group and spearheaded a project to make sure theater clients were compliant with Cares Act SVOG grants.
Scott has taught at the collegiate level for over 25 years. As professor of the practice at Fairfield University, where he recently won a university-wide “Adjunct of the Year” award, he has developed and taught several courses covering topics ranging from computerized accounting systems, business software applications, nonprofit and governmental accounting, and financial accounting. He has led courses for Fortune 500 companies and national trade conferences and has spearheaded a project to teach financial literacy to college students.
