Mark is a Director with CBIZ Valuation Group’s Real Estate Practice whose responsibilities include business development, management and execution of engagements, review and preparation of valuation assignments, and real estate consulting. With over 20 years of diversified experience in real estate consulting and valuation analysis, his expertise spans most property types including office, retail, multifamily, industrial, and lodging as well as many special use properties such as ranches, health care facilities and education facilities. He has completed engagements for various purposes including estate and gift tax planning, property acquisition and disposition, property tax, litigation, financing, purchase price allocation and financial reporting, and internal business planning. These projects span the United States, Canada, and Central America.
Prior to Joining CBIZ, Mark worked for a consulting firm and a large accounting firm as well as owned his own boutique appraisal business. He began his career in North Carolina and has since worked in California and most recently Georgia.
Mark holds an MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a certified general appraiser in multiple states as well as being fully qualified to perform appraisal work in any of the remaining states through the issuance of temporary appraisal permits, where required by law.
