John Shoemaker

John is a Managing Director with Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.* in the Kansas City office with more than five years of experience. He has been involved on many engagements, primarily consisting of financial statement audits, reviews and compilations and financial consulting projects for companies in the manufacturing, distribution and professional services industries. His responsibilities include performing medium to large attest engagements, assisting in the preparation of financial statements for non=public companies, and resolving critical audit and risk issues. John manages the day-to-day onsite activities of attest engagements, assists in designing the approach to audits and communicates any field related issues to the Shareholder. He is knowledgeable about generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS), generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and SEC reporting requirements.
