Jason is a Managing Director in our Colorado tax practice and joined CBIZ in 2021 when the company acquired the Middle Market Advisory Group (MMA) from Richey May & Co. Jason has been involved in public accounting for over 25 years and serves both private and publicly-held companies.
He provides strategic expertise to clients experiencing rapid change, including acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, roll-up combinations, securities offerings and registrations, and provides due diligence and debt-restructuring services. In his role on the CBIZ real estate tax team, Jason works with owner-operated businesses and private equity-backed portfolio companies. Jason has extensive experience with real estate transactions, REITs, 1031 exchanges, and cost segregations. He has experience in a wide variety of other industries as well, including technology, manufacturing, distribution, automotive, construction, regulated utilities and service industries.
Jason is on the Board of Porter Billups Leadership Academy, an organization focused on providing academic and leadership training to at-risk Denver inner city students in grades 4-12.
