Hongjo Kim, based in the New York Office, is the Practice Leader of the Korean Services Group. He has extensive years of experience on internal controls, taxation and internal and external audits, and led IFRS adoption and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) readiness projects in public accounting firms. He works closely with clients in various industries including manufacturing, distribution, broker and dealer, oil and gas, and banking industries providing attestation and financial reporting services.
Hongjo is a recognized specialist in accounting and attestation services under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS, serving global companies based in the U.S. He has a solid and insightful understanding of IFRS, specifically, in how IFRS are differs from U.S. GAAP in practical application.
Prior to joining the organization in 2018, Hongjo spent his career working in various audit, ERS and tax positions for “Big Four” in both South Korea and the U.S.
