Dimitar is a Director of CBIZ Valuation Group, located in our Atlanta office, who has been serving clients since 2005. A CFA charter holder, he is a national expert in business valuation.
Over the course of his career as a valuation professional, Dimitar has accumulated over 17 years of experience in business valuation. The majority of his work focuses on valuations for financial reporting and tax planning purposes for private and low-to-mid size public companies in various industries, such as information technology, healthcare, airlines, communication, construction, distribution, manufacturing, restaurant services, retail, and transportation.
Dimitar's work experience includes purchase price allocations, including earnout consideration and intangible asset valuation, impairment testing, valuation of companies with complex capital structures, as well as valuation of complex derivative securities, such as convertible debt, warrants, and equity based awards, requiring the use of binomial/lattice, or simulation models. Additionally, he has been involved in numerous projects involving the valuation of companies for gift/estate tax purposes, as well the valuation of various healthcare entities (such as hospitals, surgery centers, imaging centers, home health agencies, and physician practices, among other) and physician compensation analyses.
