Dan is the Senior Managing Director of the CBIZ & MHM Colorado office and a member of the MHM Board of Directors. He is responsible for the overall management of the Colorado market, including financial performance, strategic planning efforts, and client satisfaction. A Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst, he has been providing tax, accounting and consulting services to middle-marketing companies and their owners for over 30 years.
Dan’s emphasis is in partnership and corporate income tax matters, real estate, S corporations, individual taxation, and dealing with the IRS. His specific experience includes tax planning for transactions, corporate provisions, entity structure and reorganizations, qualified retirement plans, mergers and acquisitions, business and tax planning, and due diligence.
Dan’s clients represent a diverse range of industries, including real estate, construction, venture capital, manufacturing, professional practices, retail and wholesale.
Dan was a Shareholder at The Seff Group, P.C. for 24 years until the Company was acquired by CBIZ in 2016. He started his career in accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a tax and audit specialist.
