Boyd joined the organization in 2006, following ten years with a Big Four accounting firm in Kansas City. He focuses on complex and/or specialized issues, develops and maintains productive relationships with clients, and develops an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk. Boyd is also responsible for reviews, compilations, SEC reporting, due diligence, and transaction analysis. Industries with which Boyd has worked include manufacturing, distribution, service, financial services and nonprofit.
Boyd is the technical leader of the Kansas City attest practice.
He also became the Chief Risk Officer for MHM in 2022.
