     Richard Harshman is a Senior Vice President for CBIZ Retirement Plan Services. In addition to his consulting responsibilities, he supervises the daily activities of the retirement plan compliance and plan marketing practice for the Mid-Atlantic region as the Director of Retirement Plan Operations.

     Rick graduated from the University of Delaware in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, and a concentration in Financial Management. Rick has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He is a registered representative and investment advisory representative of CBIZ Financial Solutions, Inc., member FINRA, SIPC & MSRB. Rick also holds Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licenses.

     Rick possesses extensive experience in plan design and consulting on technical and compliance aspects as well as structuring service provider arrangements of both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans for private, public, and not-for-profit clients. Rick is responsible for implementing CBIZ’s proprietary fiduciary risk management process known as The CBIZ Fiduciary Risk Manager™. The CBIZ Fiduciary Risk Manager™ was established to help individuals manage the personal liability associated with being a Fiduciary to a qualified plan. CBIZ Retirement Plan Services has been named one of PLANADVISER’S Top 100 Retirement Advisers multiple years in a row.

     Prior to joining CBIZ in 1997, Rick was the Vice President and Director of Retirement Plan Services for an open-architecture record keeping and administration firm that provided services to retirement plan sponsors nationally. He managed the processing and compliance operation servicing of over 45,000 retirement plan accounts.
