Overview

Scott is a member of the Tax Group at CBIZ & MHM New England (formerly CBIZ Tofias) and has more than 15 years of experience providing tax planning, consulting and compliance services in the asset management sector. He specializes in the private equity, venture capital and hedge fund industries where he works with clients to provide tax assistance related to domestic and international tax issues.

Prior to joining the company, Scott served as a leader of EY’s Financial Services Tax Practice in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, he coordinated tax services for private equity funds, hedge funds and operating partnerships (including management companies). Scott has also worked within the asset management industry as a member of the tax groups at HarbourVest Partners and Citigroup.
