Overview
Hal is a senior vice president at CBIZ Retirement Plan Services. He provides actuarial and consulting services for multiemployer pension funds, welfare funds and post-retirement medical plans. Hal has over thirty-five years of experience working in the employee benefits field, specializing in creative actuarial solutions to complex problems. While he has provided consulting services to a broad range of companies and organizations, including public and privately held corporations, not-for-profit entities and professional corporations, his focus over the last twenty years has been working with multiemployer funds. Hal is currently one of nine actuaries in the United States serving on the Internal Revenue Services’ Joint Board of Advisory Committee and is a member of the Committee on Qualifications of the American Academy of Actuaries.
When he is not spending time with his two Maltese dogs, Hal enjoys creating and solving crossword puzzles and attending Broadway shows. He is an avid supporter of Boston’s performing arts and a life-long and formerly long-suffering (but no more!) fan of Boston’s championship sports teams.
