Business Experience

Mr. Leff brings more than 35 years of extensive accounting, finance and strategic management expertise to his clients. He is the Senior Managing Director for the Philadelphia office of CBIZ MHM, LLC.

Mr. Leff’s representative accomplishments have included:

• Headed business consulting group that advised businesses and professional corporations on structure of incentive plans, stock plans, non-qualified and deferred compensation plans, initial public offerings and private placements
• Turn-around specialist engaged by numerous banks providing COO and CFO services to troubled companies, responsible for day to day operations and financial controls
• Consultant to commercial banks and finance companies helping to analyze the viability of companies seeking additional financing. These analyses included the evaluation of numerous asset based credits to determine the validity of the collateral which lead to funding decisions requiring a further engagement to implement and successfully complete the exit strategy. 
• Court-appointed trustee to several companies in re-organization. For example, worked with a multi-million dollar plastics printing company resulting in a 100% loan recovery for the lender. 
• Chief Financial Officer of multi-national manufacturer responsible for mergers, acquisitions and financial functions.  While CFO, completed M&A activity valued in excess of $50 million. 
• Financial adviser to numerous companies preparing for their Initial Public Offerings. Companies ranged from $8 million to $50 million in valuation and preparation for IPO. 
• Developed the structure, programs and training for the emerging business department of an international accounting firm.
