Overview

Elizabeth is a Consultant for Employee Benefits at CBIZ Retirement Plan Services’ Cottonwood office. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Kansas State University. She has also studied under the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

As a Consultant for Employee Benefits, Elizabeth specializes in account recordkeeping and discrimination testing for Defined Contribution plans, as well as actuarial support and benefit administration for Defined Benefit plans. She also assists as an Investment Analyst for CBIZ Cottonwood, where she prepares quarterly performance reports and monitors investment performance for Defined Benefit plans. CBIZ Retirement Plan Services has been named one of PLANADVISER’S Top 100 Retirement Advisers multiple years in a row.

Prior to joining CBIZ, Elizabeth was a consultant for The Cottonwood Group, which was acquired by CBIZ in 2015. She was also a Consultant with Defrain Mayer, which was The Cottonwood Group’s predecessor. In addition, she worked for five years with TPF&C/Tillinghast, and was a cost and budget analyst with Benedix Corporation.
 
Beth lives in Shawnee, Kansas with her husband, David.  They have two sons, Matthew and Marc, as well as two grandchildren who live nearby. In her spare time, Beth enjoys travel, theatre and college sports, especially Kansas State football.
