Rhett Butler has more than nine years of experience in public accounting, specifically in audit and attest work, with a focus in transaction advisory services. He provides audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed upon procedures services for clients in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, retail, and distribution as well as professional services. Rhett specializes in transaction advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence, identifying potential problems that may lie ahead for his clients, such as unusual transaction and trends, compliance issues, quality of earnings, and irregular business transactions and/or events. His attest clients range in size with as few as 50 and as many as 5,000 employees, and his transaction advisory clients include both large companies and small, targeted businesses going through acquisitions.
Rhett is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and maintains membership in AICPA and TSCPA. Additionally, Rhett is a Certified Fraud Examiner under the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and Treasurer of the Mid-South Chapter of ACFE.
