David is a certified public accountant with nearly 40 years of experience in public accounting with a focus in tax consulting, planning and compliance for families and closely held businesses. He previously served as the Sr. Managing Director in the Minneapolis office from 2011 through 2021 and has returned to a full time focus on clients and staff development. David and his team help his clients focus on short and long term goals, and fashion creative income and gift/estate tax strategies to help them accomplish them. He has worked with client groups with financial net worth ranging from zero to multiple hundred million dollars.
David graduated from the University of Iowa – Iowa City, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He has also received the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Personal Financial Specialist Designation.
