Janis is a Senior Manager in the Kansas City office of CBIZ MHM, LLC and is also a Manager in the MHM Retirement Plan Solutions group. MHM Retirement Plan Solutions is a Third Party Administration Firm for qualified retirement plans. Services provided include plan design and consulting, participant recordkeeping, asset reconciliation, non discrimination testing and preparation of Form 5500. She is a licensed CPA and has received the designation of QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) from the American Society of Professionals and Pension Actuaries (ASPPA).
Prior to joining the organization, Janis worked for a large engineering firm as the in-house 401(k) Plan Administrator for ten years. Today, Janis is responsible for the day-to-day administration and compliance of retirement plans, as well as the preparation and review of IRS reporting forms and plan document design, analysis and preparation. Janis has been with the organization since 2000.
