Rohan Pidaparti currently serves as the Nonprofit Executive Search Specialty Practice Leader at CBIZ EFL Associates. Pidaparti helps client organizations transform the talent acquisition process – at every stage – and meet their goals with strong executive search strategies that are tailored for specific business needs.
Pidaparti is driven both by the intellectual exercise of allocating talent to solve adaptive organizational challenges and by the impact that transformational nonprofit leaders can have on the communities and stakeholders they serve. By ensuring that organizations focused on social impact have access to high-quality, robust leadership, operational productivity is increased, turnover is decreased, and a greater sense of accomplishment is achieved, all of which contribute to an organization being a more effective driver of social change.
As a certified diversity recruiter, Pidaparti is highly attuned to issues of fairness, inclusion, and implicit bias, and designs search and selection processes that are evenly administered and provide equal opportunity to all candidates regardless of background. Pidaparti is a firm believer that values are integral to the search process, engaging with candidates and clients in strategic reflection to ensure alignment in pursuit of organizational success.
Prior to joining CBIZ EFL Associates, Pidaparti taught middle school math at the Ewing Marion Kauffman School, ran an edtech accelerator at LeanLab Education, and worked for Teach for America (TFA) as Manager of Product Innovation where he recruited candidates for TFA’s master teacher fellowship and identified effective regional education programs for expansion and national scale. Pidaparti’s background in education, combined with proficient coaching, mentoring, and bilingual skills are key contributors to his ability to source and evaluate executive talent.
Pidaparti’s passion for leadership extends beyond the office and into being an active member of his community. Currently, Pidaparti serves as Board President for the Sankofa Leadership Initiative, a youth martial-arts leadership nonprofit for kids in the greater Kansas City area, and as Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for Guadalupe Centers High School.
