Mike has been a Benefits Consultant for 16 years with CBIZ. His responsibilities include long-range strategic planning, corporate benefit compliance, financial projections, claims reporting, vendor management, and trend/ claims analysis, as well as responsibility for the management of each client relationship and the CBIZ team in place to take care of them.
Mainly consulting with CEO, CFO, and Senior HR professionals of mid to large employers.
Mike works with each one in developing a long-range strategic approach to the procurement, delivery, and communication of all welfare benefit plans. Mike also assists in the communication of these plans to the employees covered by each policy through various means.
Current clients range in size from 25 to 1,000. Mike specializes in working with HMO, PPO,POS, dental, vision, life and disability plans, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage,Medicare Part D, individual, international, SHOP, & the Federal Marketplace. He also hascomprehensive knowledge of wellness programs, EAPs, voluntary benefits, COBRA, Section125 plans (Flexible Spending Accounts), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and HealthReimbursement Accounts (HRA).
Mike has worked in the employee benefits field for over 20 years. Before working at CBIZ, he served as a large group Broker Representative with Aetna. Mike works with Arizona-based and multi-state employers, both private and public.
