Karl Duell has over 35 years of extensive national and regional public accounting experience serving numerous construction contractor, real estate, manufacturing and distribution and general commercial clients. He was licensed to practice accounting as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Florida Board of Accountancy in 1983 and is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. In his role as Shareholder, Karl is responsible for the overall execution of audit engagements, including the review and supervision of the audit engagement team. Karl attends over 40 hours of continuing professional education annually with concentrations in accounting concepts, auditing standards, financial management and business topics. He has been with the CBIZ CPAs* for over 18 years and is based in the Boca Raton, Florida office.
Karl has also served as Chief Financial Officer of both a nationwide, privately held automotive wholesaler and a publicly held specialty retailer.
