Gena Stanzione

Gena brings experience with both account and client management. In her current position, Gena’s responsibilities include overseeing the day to day management of issues pertaining to CBIZ clients. As an advocate for the employees, her understanding in contract and claim issues provides our employer groups with a direct line for resolving all issues surrounding employee benefit plans. In addition, Gena has a very strong background in underwriting having participated in insurance carrier training with lead underwriters. She is a strategic partner to our clients and very involved in underwriting analysis of renewals, conducting on-site presentations for all product lines offered, providing detailed research and resolution to client and employee questions, claims inquiries and other service related inquiries.

Gena graduated with honors from The University of Virginia with a degree in Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology.

Gena began her career as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley’s West Palm Beach, Florida office.  Her role there emphasized working with clients to fit their specific goals, including insurance coverage and investment planning.  Her duties included helping clients establish action plans to set their goals and manage their expectations. Additionally, as part of her financial team, she organized and led seminars for both prospective and current clients.  In her time at Morgan Stanley, her team saw significant growth in new client acquisition and assets.
