With more than 25 years of experience in the employee benefits, insurance industry and holding various levels of leadership; Mr. Polzin is directly and primarily involved with the sales and marketing, strategic direction of health and welfare benefit programs. He works in local and national capacities for clients and service teams throughout the country in both mid to large group markets. He promotes innovation, creativity, and unparalleled client service and strives to broaden and deepen our service offerings that will exceed our client’s expectations and DRIVE ACCOUNTABLE RESULTS.
Beginning his employee benefits career in 1993, Mr. Polzin spent two years working in the Corporate Human Resource Department for a national retailer. Performing corporate benefit strategies, gaining understanding and appreciation of the issues facing large, multi-state, multi-site employers. He then continued to spend several years in the TPA Business. Working with Self-Funding Health & Welfare plans, gaining expertise in operations and sales. This made for a great opportunity and transition in 1998 to the Consulting and Brokerage world of Employee Benefits where he serves and excels today.
Along with his experience in employee benefits, business acumen, tenacity, and passion, he ensures a solid partnership with clients and manages key service initiatives; by creating innovation, expert guidance of plan design, financial stewardship, and providing a positive employee experience.
Mr. Polzin is a Veteran and served over four years in the United States Marine Corps, participating in “Operation Desert Shield” and “Desert Storm.” Upon completion of his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Human Resources, Economics, and Industrial Relations from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Since then, he also owns a resort and real estate business.
Mr. Polzin’s community involvement includes being a Past President in the Victoria Lions Club and Past Commander of The Victoria American Legion where he still serves as an active member in both organizations. Also, an avid outdoorsman, Mr. Polzin’s other outdoor interests include; AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association) and is active in the “World of Equine” and participates in Ranch Rodeos, Team Sorting & Penning Events.
