  • Overview

    As a key leader in the Corporate Marketing group, Daniel is responsible for overseeing the CBIZ data and analytics function with a focus on making organizational data more actionable and delivering greater insights and trends to drive our marketing and sales efforts.

    He works with a cross-functional team of sales and marketing leaders, as well as IT to implement sound data governance, progressive processes, identification and implementation of best-in-class marketing and data technologies, and where applicable, automations to streamline functions and create business efficiencies.


    Since joining the company in 2006, Daniel has been instrumental in the development and expansion of CBIZ and MHM’s growth and innovation efforts.  Combining technology with the right process and people has always been a passion for Daniel.  He has played a critical role in driving these efforts organization-wide to effect change and increase operating efficiencies. A member of the Process Improvement and Technology Task Force and Sales & Marketing Steering Committees, Daniel continues to have significant involvement with our Salesforce.com (CRM), e-mail optimization, website, and other marketing technologies. He works closely with the IT and legal teams and manages relationships with several outside vendors.


    Prior to taking on this role, Daniel served as the National Marketing Director for the CBIZ Accounting, Tax, & Advisory Services and Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (MHM) practices where he directed the organic growth efforts for 12 years. In this role, he worked with 35+ business units across the country, facilitating and consulting with their local leadership teams on organic growth strategies and managing and mentoring the marketing team members nationwide. Daniel was involved in SWOT and market analyses, business plan development, budgeting and the mobilization of resources to execute major local and national initiatives.  He also built and managed an internal creative team to support the national and local efforts, which included graphic design, content development, marketing campaign, digital/web, and proposal resources.

    Daniel also oversaw and coordinated the marketing, business development and core operations of the CBIZ & MHM national practice groups. Working closely with leadership across the country, he provided strategic direction to the National Tax Practice, MHM Executive Committee, Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice and the Not-for-Profit and Construction industry groups. Daniel was responsible for the thought leadership efforts of these groups, collateral development, infrastructure management, channel marketing, sponsorship activities, and internal communication.
