Christina is a Senior Manager who joined CBIZ MHM, LLC’s National State and Local Tax Practice based in Greenville, South Carolina in January 2019. Mrs. Braswell focuses on helping clients with state income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, audit resolutions, unclaimed property reviews, voluntary disclosures, and annual compliance reporting. Mrs. Braswell has experience in dealing with a wide variety of state tax issues for various industries, including apportionment, unitary filings, state nexus issues, and analyzing business/non-business issues.
In 2007, Mrs. Braswell began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As Tax Manager, she was a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients that included foreign and domestic multi-state corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts. This has given her a wide range of knowledge in various industries, including manufacturing, real estate, SaaS, and financial services. Her responsibilities included assisting client with needs involving federal income tax, state income tax, franchise tax, financial statement reporting, audit resolutions, uncertain tax positions, and tax planning.
Mrs. Braswell has also worked for Denny’s Corporation in their internal tax department. There she assisted with the preparation of the federal, state, and local tax compliance filings, investigating tax planning opportunities, and accounting for income taxes in the quarterly SEC filings.
