    Mr. Acebal is a director in the tangible asset practice of CBIZ Valuation Group. His consulting expertise includes the development and implementation of property valuation solutions for various types of entities, including risk pools, religious institutions, insurance/brokers carriers, hospitals, reinsurance intermediaries and private industry. These projects have involved initiating and maintaining lines of communication and developing property valuation strategies that provide long-term cost effective solutions for his clients.

    He has significant experience with the design, development and management of property valuation programs for property risk pools, large property portfolios, religious institutions, commercial property portfolios and historical properties. This experience includes the implementation of customized property valuation and data collection programs to meet underwriting, reinsurance and property inspection data requirements.

    Mr. Acebal is frequently invited to present at national and regional professional association conferences on the topics of property management reporting and insurance valuations. Associations he has presented to include the Public Risk Management Association, Massachusetts Municipal Auditors’ & Accountants’ Association, Maryland Municipal League, Association of School Business Officials International, The New York State Association of School Business Officials, The New York State Government Finance Officers’ Association, New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, Florida PRIMA, South Carolina PRIMA and others. Mr. Acebal has also authored articles dealing with property insurance appraisal, property cost accounting and other property management issues for various publications and association newsletters.

    He has over 22 years of valuation consulting experience with a number of national appraisal firms. Prior to joining CBIZ Valuation Group, Mr. Acebal was a vice president with a national property valuation practice where his responsibilities included consulting, business development, contract management and project planning.
