SmartCEO BRAVA! Awards – July 30th
The Brava! Awards program celebrates female CEOs, nonprofit leaders and high impact executives who combine their irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for giving back to the community. Brava! Award winners are exemplary leaders of both their companies and their communities. They encourage local philanthropy, mentor up-and-coming leaders and set their companies on the path to tremendous growth. That impact in the Mid-Atlantic market is formidable. Brava! winners are community leaders, philanthropists and mentors; wives, mothers and daughters; and tough, savvy, innovative and resilient entrepreneurs and executive officers. They span the gamut of the Washington, D.C. business and nonprofit scene. We say BRAVO to the women of BRAVA! This year, in addition to sponsoring this inspiring awards event, we hosted a pre-event Breakfast (June 17th) and are planning a post-event Roundtable October 8th. Baltimore Business Journal Best in Finance: 2015 CFO Awards – April 17th
Washington Business Journal 2015 CFO of the Year Awards – July 16th
CBIZ and Mayer Hoffman McCann are proud to sponsor both the Baltimore Business Journal and Washington Business Journal CFO of the Year Awards. As a national business services and consulting company with strong accounting, benefits and insurance service lines in the Mid-Atlantic market, we see sponsorship of these events as a way of speaking directly to the audience we serve. It is our way of saying we recognize and support the contributions and perspectives the chief financial officer provides as a key member of an organization’s leadership team. The CFO is one of the key executive level officers we work with regularly on fiscal, risk and workforce management issues. We are acutely aware of the CFO’s pivotal role in the success of any organization – whether for profit or nonprofit. We congratulate this year’s honorees for their accomplishments and the vital role they play in the success of their companies and in the vitality of our business community at large.
