Michael A. Spence brings over 18 years of public accounting experience to CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory of South Florida, LLC.

Mr. Spence has extensive experience in the areas of taxation and attestation of construction companies and specialty subcontractors, along with not-for-profit organizations, automobile dealerships, and bank and mortgage bankers.

Michael is an active member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a member to the Institute of Certified Construction Financial Professionals and the South Florida Chapter of the Associated General Contractors, as well as Past Treasurer of the Foster Care Review Board of Miami-Dade County.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in both the states of Florida and West Virginia.

Mr. Spence received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University, West Virginia, in 1984, and went on to receive his master's in accounting from St. Thomas University in South Florida in 1987.
