Mike Fetchero, Vice President Specialty Programs, has over 25 years of experience in Property and Casualty marketing and underwriting. He graduated from Towson State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1974 and has spent his entire working career in the insurance field. Upon graduation, he was employed by Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in its Baltimore Branch Office for four years. Subsequently, Mike was introduced to the brokerage field, working for an independent agency known as Insurance, Inc. also of Baltimore. Mike joined BGS&G in 1983 as head of agencies' marketing function. Mike has earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation, the Associate in Underwriting (AU) designation, and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the American Institute.

Mike spends much of his time handling the whitewater and river recreation insurance business of BGS&G. With Mike's love of the outdoors and his background in river sports, he is well equipped to respond to the specialized needs of our River Pak clients. Mike also handles a variety of other clients with the emphasis being on transportation and other tough risks.
